Car maintenance: what parts should be changed regularly?

The distribution belt

By definition, the timing belt ensures the synchronization of the various elements of the car engine such as the crankshaft, the water pump or the injection pump. She is one of the so-called wear parts due to the fact that it tends to deteriorate over time.

The tires

Battery

There battery is an essential element to ensure the proper functioning of the vehicle. More particularly, it is she who provides the energy needed to start the engine and allow all electronic elements (radio, lights, touch screen for example) to turn on correctly. Just like the timing belt, it tends to deteriorate over time, but other factors can notably affect its proper functioning, such as cold.

It is recommended change your battery every 4 to 5 years. Certain signs may show you that the latter is damaged. For example, your indicator lights have lower intensity or your car has difficulty starting from the first turn of the key.
